" (...) the Open Educational Resources in Europe (OEREU) project will provide a critical assessment of OER initiatives and practices in Europe, develop sector-specific foresight scenarios to illustrate the benefits, carry out a representative survey on the use of OER, identify challenges across all sectors and, jointly with stakeholders, develop, discuss and propose recommendations for the further development and mainstreaming of OER in Europe." The website offered a few documents and first thoughts on the topic and on how to run the project. The project started in June 2012 and was meant to run for 2 years. OEREU was a project in the context of the European Commission, Directorate General for Education and Culture, Unit A2 (Skills and Qualifications). On their own website, the link to the project is broken in 2020. The results of the survey and assessment mentioned could not be found.
